CyberSignal

Data sources and credits

Last updated 20 October 2026

Everything on CyberSignal comes from public, open sources. Here is each one, what it provides, its licence, and the credit it asks for. CyberSignal itself — its software and design — is owned by Freeroam LLC; the data belongs to these sources.

Aircraft

Positions come from volunteers’ ADS-B receivers, so coverage follows where those receivers are: dense over North America and Europe, thin over oceans, Africa and much of Asia. Between reports each aircraft is carried along its own reported course and speed.

Public cameras

Official feeds published by transport authorities, credited on every camera. Still images are passed through our server so the agencies do not see visitors’ IP addresses; live video plays from the agency directly.
